DELIVERING YOUR PLANTS TO YOU
We normally despatch orders on Mondays or, occasionally, Tuesdays. This is to avoid any issues with deliveries delayed for any reason beyond our control not reaching customers before the weekend.
Our standard delivery method is by 24 hour courier (occasionally, depending on time of collection, it might be 48 hours). The cost of this is automatically calculated for your order, with a minimum charge of £10. If you are placing a very small order, you can contact us to see if we can deliver for a reduced charge. Please note that this applies to mainland UK addresses only. We do not deliver outside the UK.
A signature is not necessarily required when delivery is made by the courier. The courier will generally 'leave safe' a package if we ask them to do so when we book collection. Please ensure, when placing your order, that you indicate where the package may be left if no-one is in to receive it.
Some addresses in Scotland are categorised by the couriers as Highlands & Islands, which may mean a higher cost for the service (usually an additional £3 or £4) and / or a longer delivery timescale (2 or sometimes 3 days). Where this is the case, we will contact you in advance of despatching your order.
We will send you an e-mail when your package has been collected, so you can know when to expect it.
Remember that we may have to cut back plants in order to package them securely and safely, especially during the summer when they are in full growth.
If you live in the Southampton area, we can deliver your plants using our own transport. If you live within 5 miles of SO16 8AL, we will do that free of charge, provided you order at least £20 worth of plants. Outside that radius, we will deliver at cost, so contact us and we will tell you how much it will be to deliver to your address.
You can choose to collect your plants from the nursery if you live locally.
Collection can also be arranged at shows or markets we attend. See Fairs and Shows for details.
