Jasminum Fiona Sunrise was jointly developed by a local nurseryman whose wife is called - well, you've guessed it - Fiona. The sunrise bit comes from the name the other breeder was intending to use. It’s certainly a delightful and distinctive climber, with the foliage starting out in spring as lime chartreuse and developing to a rich golden hue by mid summer. Even the stems share the colouration. The scented flowers are as per the parent species and are carried in clusters along the stems for months on end.

In this short video Fiona Sunrise is shown off by a proud owner, preceded by some views of her Trachelopermum Jasminoides (aka star jasmine).

Jasminum Officinale Fiona Sunrise is a twining hardy climber with golden yellow leaves and scented white flowers in summer suitable for sun or semi-shade.
