ADD TO BASKET

Mint Crisp is a cultivar of Lonicera Japonica that was introduced to the market around the beginning of the 21st century, having been developed by Irish nurseryman Matt Lohan of Woodstock Trees and Shrubs. Being a Japanese honeysuckle, it is pretty much evergreen, though technically it should be designated semi-evergreen, as harsh winter conditions may resukt in loss of foliage, which will grow back once milder weather returns in spring.

As a variegated variety, MInt Crisp is not as madly vigorous as some other cultivars of Lonicera Japonica, but it will still give good quick coverage of a wall or fence. Care consists of pruning as required, with major cutting back best done in early spring. Like most honeysuckles, it will be perfectly happy in a shady position but will take a sunny spot too.

Lonicera Japonica Mint Crisp is a hardy evergreen climber with cream and green variegated leaves and scented white flowers in summer suitable sun or semi-shade.
