Hardy enough but, if a hard winter damages the foliage, just trim off affected leaves in spring and it will regrow nice new ones.

Dierama are native to various parts of the African continent where they grow in upland moist grasslands. The root system is cormous, so the plants are easy to divide if required.

Some video footage of various dieramas swaying in the breeze, with Enya in the background. You'll soon get the idea:

Dierama Argyreum is an evergreen hardy perennial plant with grassy leaves and arching stems with hanging white flowers flushed pink suitable for full sun.
