With ruffled glossy foliage as black as a raven's wing at midnight (well, almost), this new introduction is an little cracker and beats Obsidian to the title of the best dark-leaved heuchera, we think. It will form a compact rounded mound of crinkled evergreen blackness which is a nice background for the white flowers on delicate stems. Sun or semi-shade. Any reasonable soil. 10 in. 1 litre pot.
