READY SOON. And glow it certainly does, on and on from late spring to early autumn, given a bit of dead heading to keep it happy. And, yes, it is unmissably (and very sweetly) orange. Seems they named it well then. Sweet Glow is another of the hardy Garvinea gerberas, which we like. Sun or semi-shade. Any well drained soil. 15 in. 1 litre pot.

Looks as vibrant and colourful as a bedding plant, flowers its socks off like a bedding plant, but Gerbera Sweet Glow will take a nap during the winter months and come back ready for more flowering action in the spring.
The breeders who developed the Garvinea series claim hardiness down to US zone 7 (that's an average minimum of -17C to -12C). Just make sure the crown of the plant remains relatively dry in winter, so don't plant it too deep.
For further details on the development of the hardy Gerbera Garvinea types and the recently introduced Sweet series, see the page for Gerbera Garvinea Sweet Dreams.
