READY EARLY SUMMER 2018. The name rather gives away what is special about this plant: Astilbe Color Flash Lime has foliage that emerges brilliant yellow in early spring and matures to lime green by mid-season, making it an arresting sight even before the fluffy plumes of candyfloss pink flowers appear in the summer months. A stunner in the border or in a pot. Sun or semi-shade. Moist soil. 18 to 24 in. 2 litre pot.

This is one of those plants that you may find presenting itself under another name, in this instance 'Beauty of Lisse'. Now that's a rather attractive moniker, though it is less self-explanatory than Color Flash Lime. Astilbe Color Flash Lime is a hardy perennial plant with lime green leaves and plumes of pink flowers in early to mid summer suitable for sun or semi-shade.
