The name rather gives away what is special about this plant: Astilbe Color Flash Lime has foliage that emerges brilliant yellow in early spring and matures to lime green by mid-season, making it an arresting sight even before the fluffy plumes of candyfloss pink flowers appear in the summer months. A stunner in the border or in a pot. Sun or semi-shade. Moist soil. 18 to 24 in. 2 litre pot.
