SORRY, SOLD OUT BUT MORE READY SOON. Rare and exquisitely beautiful. Abutilon Red Tiger is unquestionably the choicest of flowering maples with its bell shaped red-veined orangey yellow flowers dangling among the rather jagged foliage from long lax branches, like so many delicate Tiffany lampshades. Give it a sheltered spot, possibly against a wall, and it will flower almost constantly from spring to late autumn. Sun or semi-shade. Any reasonable soil. To 6 feet. 3 litre pot. Please note plants will be pruned back to 60cm if sent by courier.

Not often seen on this side of the Atlantic, but here it is at last. We are very pleased indeed finally to be able to offer this exotic looking beauty.
This lovely shrub can also be treated as a patio (summer) and conservatory (winter) specimen, which is probably the best option in colder parts of the country where prolonged sub zero temperatures are likely.
Prune back fairly hard in spring and at intervals during the season to keep the shape you want.
