SUMMERINA (ECHIBECKIA) ORANGE

SUMMERINA (ECHIBECKIA) ORANGE

from 5.00

Very new indeed is this intergenetic cross between Rudbeckia and Echinacea which will flower relentlessly once they get going in mid summer, with each 3 inch rusty orange bloom lasting for weeks with no need to dead head. Summerina Orange is a really interesting introduction which we like a lot. Sun or semi-shade. Any reasonable soil. 2 to 3 feet. 1 litre or 2 litre pot.

Echibeckia is a bit of a mouthful: Summerina sounds rather nicer, we think.

First time growing this for us in 2014. Once they started flowering, we took some to shows and they did the old hot cakes trick.

Echibeckia Summerina Orange is a hardy perennial plant with toothed leaves and large orange flowers from early summer to autumn suitable for sun or semi-shade.
