Freya is a new variety of campanula, named after the Norse goddess of love and fertility, that forms a remarkably compact multi-stemmed plant sporting multiple clusters of violet blue bell flowers from early to mid summer. They don’t come much nicer than this little goddess. Sun or semi-shade. Any reasonable soil. 12 to 15 in. 2 litre pot.

She's not been around long, but we can see Freya becoming one of the most popular varieties of Campanula, so pretty is she. We really like how short and sturdy the flowering spikes are, creating a small but shapely plant.

Cut back the stems once all the flower clusters have gone over to refresh the plant and encourage re-blooming.
