A delicate little specimen with lots of charm, Epimedium Akebono has little heart-shaped leaves, reddish-bronze in spring and autumn, among which, in early summer, appear star-shaped white flowers delicately flushed with pink on wiry stems. Prefers a little shade. Any reasonable soil. 12 in. 1 litre pot.
A shy little thing that won't ask much of you at all, other than to pause and admire it occasionally.
